Bats @ Delores Fenwick Nature Center

We will be partnering with the Delores Fenwick Nature Center in Pearland for a nature workshop focused on bats from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM! The program will include a small bat craft, a presentation on all things batty, and an evening walk around the facility with bat detectors! All ages are welcome, but ages 5+ will need to register online or at the door for 5$ each. The money supports the nature center’s operations. The coolest thing about this event is the local Mexican free-tailed bat colony found just a few streets away from the nature center! Most of the bats we saved over last year’s winter freeze actually came from this colony, and they love to visit the center’s water features. Register Here
