The veterinary technician assistant provides support for the veterinary staff including the veterinarians and the veterinary technicians. There are many tasks in the wildlife rehabilitation hospital that are not part of everyday tasks in dog and cat hospitals.
The Wildlife Educator provides high quality interpretive programming and environmental education to audiences of all ages across the Houston area.
The Wildlife Rehabilitation Coordinator works closely with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager and Technicians to make sure all animals in rehab are being properly cared for.
HHSWC has several seasonal openings for Technicians in our Wildlife Rehabilitation Department (WRD). Animals in this department currently include, but are not limited to – squirrels, opossums, doves, and songbirds.
Veterinary Technicians are a very important position at HHS Wildlife Center. They work together with the other Hospital Staff to ensure all patients receive the best care possible.
