Before coming to TWRC, Mary was the Habitat and Stewardship Program Manager for the Artist Boat in Galveston, Texas. In that role, Mary managed projects for the 670-acre Coastal Heritage Preserve. She also worked on budgeting, grant writing, fundraising, OSHA compliance and training, and safety procedure development. Mary is a registered Vet Tech and was a critical care zookeeper at the Houston Zoo. Mary is also a wildlife rehabilitator.
Mary holds a Masters degree in Environmental Science.
